Kale Stierle working at Oliver's Funeral Home

Kale Stierle

Funeral Director & Embalming Apprentice

Kale was born and raised in Grande Prairie, and started working in the community as soon as he was old enough. He enjoys working hard and meeting new people. After trying a couple jobs, he wanted to do something as meaningful as possible for his community. He decided to help people through one of the hardest times in their lives. He began the process by enrolling at Mount Royal University to pursue his funeral services diploma.

Kale feels privileged to be working at Oliver’s Funeral Home because he gets to be part of a team whose collective mission is to help the people of our community, and who use their individual strengths to heal. He is proud to contribute to a hometown legacy that was started by J.B. Oliver in 1915. By serving his community, Kale hopes to be able to build a legacy of his own.

Kale loves his family, especially his two little brothers. He is looking forward to marrying his fiancée, Abigayle, and they both enjoy spending time together with their dog, Hana. Kale is passionate about cooking and creative writing, especially poetry, and dreams of becoming a published author.
