Obituary For William Andrew Willich

William Willich, a resident of Grande Prairie, AB, formerly of Dawson Creek, BC passed away Thursday, March 28, 2024 at the age of 64 years.

William was born March 17, 1960 in Dawson Creek, BC, where he grew up and graduated in 1978.

William moved to Grande Prairie the following year and attended college at GPRC. He drove a taxi cab in his earlier days and then went into office work, such as accounts receivable, payroll and the like. He did this for many years with much of his time spent at Northern Bottling Ltd.

William enjoyed hunting and fishing with his father, uncles and kids as long as his health permitted. He was ever a family man and remained close to those he cared about in Dawson Creek. He enjoyed watching curling and wrestling on television. He was interested in anything Sci-fi, 70’s music and most recently, The Hunger Games.

When it came to his job, William’s work ethic was undeniable. He was an easygoing, patient, quiet and caring individual. He loved his children and grandkids unconditionally. He was a good man and will be missed by those that knew and loved him.

He will be sadly missed by his children David and Trish Bugghins; grandchildren: Aaliyah, William, Laura and Madison; as well as sister Sheila.

William was predeceased by his father Irvine Dale Willich and his mother Priscilla Willich.
