Wendy Marie Lee, resident of Spirit River, Alberta, formerly of Sherwood Park, Alberta, passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2026, in Spirit River at the age of 72 years.

Wendy was born on January 16, 1954, in Edmonton. She was interested in anything and everything, from gardening to quantum physics, computer building, art, religion, reading, and writing. Travelling the world brought her joy, and whenever possible, she helped every person she met. Wendy was an incredibly talented artist and loved painting. During her treasured time spent with her grandkids, they would make crafts together. Wendy was brilliant, full of kindness, and exceptionally fun to be around.

She will be deeply missed by her partner, John Logan; her children, Roxanne Press and Misti Sayani; her grandchildren, Robbie Campa and Safiyah Sayani; and her brother, Randy Lee.

Wendy was predeceased by her brothers, Marty Lee, Mickey Lee, and Ronny Lee.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. at the Spirit of Peace United Church (4902-45 Avenue, Spirit River, AB), preceded by a viewing at 1:00 p.m. Following the service, interment will take place at the Town of Spirit River Cemetery (4403-4409 47 Street).
