Obituary For Wallace Conrad
Wallace Conrad, resident of Grande Prairie, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2019, at Prairie Lakes Seniors Community at the age of 93 years.
Wallace was born in Grande Prairie on August 13, 1925. He was raised in the Clairmont area and retired to Grande Prairie in 1992 after he sold the family farm.
Wallace enjoyed gardening, travelling, camping, and golfing.
He will be sadly missed by his children Rick (Geri), Doug (Linda), and Brian; grandchildren: Ryan (Diana), David (Loranda), Devon, and Cory (Mercede); great-grandchildren: Vera, Indie, and Charlie; brother Patrick (Patricia) Conrad; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Wallace was predeceased by his wife Dorothy (2006); brothers: Jack, Tom, and Bob; and sisters Evelyn McCormick and Joan Dredge.
A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, August 12, 2019 at 1:00pm, at Oliver’s Funeral Home in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave.).
Memorial donations may be made to the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital Foundation (10409 98 St., Grande Prairie, AB, T8V 2E8) or to a charity of one’s choice.
