We offer families the opportunity to prepare and submit obituary notices written in their own words. We believe this allows each tribute to authentically reflect the life and legacy of the individual. To honour each tribute, obituaries are published as approved by the family.

Obituary For Wade Gregory Fritshaw

It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Wade Gregory Fritshaw on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at the age of 54.

Wade was a simple yet deeply complicated man. He was loyal, loving, driven, and fiercely dedicated to the people he cared about. He lived with intensity, discipline, and pride, always pushing himself physically and striving to be strong for those around him.

Wade had a love for sports and living an active lifestyle. He took great pride in staying in peak physical condition and was deeply disciplined in the way he approached life. He always found peace in the outdoors, especially hiking and spending time in the mountains. That is where he felt most grounded and at ease.

Above all else, Wade loved his people with his whole heart. His wife, Lynnette, and his boys, Tsar and Tasen, were his greatest source of pride. Nothing mattered more to him than being a good husband and father. He loved his boys deeply and was so incredibly proud of them and their accomplishments. He spoke of them often and cherished the time he spent with them. Although Wade loved every member of his family greatly, he always expressed a special love and bond he held in his heart for his Grandma Jenny.

Though his time here was far too short, Wade was well respected, and the impact he made on the lives around him will remain long after his passing. He will forever be remembered as a loving father, husband, son, brother, grandson, uncle, great-uncle, and friend. His absence will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved him.

In honoring Wade’s life, we also acknowledge the importance of men’s mental health and the silent struggles so many carry behind closed doors. May his passing serve as a reminder that strength is not found in suffering alone, and that no one should have to fight their battles in silence.
