Obituary For Vivian Lynn Anderson

Vivian Lynn Anderson, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, formerly of Two Hills, AB, passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2022, at the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital, at the age of 60 years.

Vivian was born in Two Hills, on April 4, 1962. The family moved first to Grande Cache, AB, then Hinton, AB, and finally settled in Grande Prairie in January,1975. She attended Montrose Junior High and Grande Prairie Composite High School as a teenager, and at the age of 42 earned a bachelor's degree in nursing at the Grande Prairie Regional College in 2004.

Vivian was fiercely devoted to her family and dedicated her life to her 4 children and 5 grandchildren. She loved the mountains and loved to travel whenever she could. She was also extremely proud of her Ukrainian heritage, staying involved in all things Ukrainian through the entirety of her life.

While she didn't pursue traditional hobbies, she was always looking to help people, was an amazing listener and communicator, and put those skills to use as a volunteer for suicide prevention.

Vivian will be sadly missed by her husband David; son Eric (Kari); daughters Cassanya and Jori-Lynn; grandchildren: Carson, Skyler, Corbin, Hailey, and Violet; mother Diana; brother Wayne; sister Cynthia (Marvin); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her father John and son Matthew.

A Celebration of Life for Vivian will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022, from 1:00-4:00pm, at the Crystal Creek Hall (44044 Hwy 670, County of Grande Prairie, Alberta).
