Obituary For Troy Noland Mousseau

Troy Noland Mousseau, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2025, in Fox Creek, AB, at the age of 54 years.

Troy was born in Hinton, Alberta. He enjoyed school, computers, and causing trouble with friends. He met his wife, Amber, online, and they quickly moved mountains to become one and build a life together.

To the world, Troy looked tough, blunt, and sometimes too difficult, but those he let in, or who stuck around long enough, knew the amazing man he actually was. He had the biggest heart and was a man who stood by his word. He enjoyed cooking, teaching his son how to work on pumps, and playing games with his best friend Sean (Pew-Pew).

He will be sadly missed by his wife of 23 years, Amber Mousseau, son Roland (17), daughter Keira (11), stepfather Ed Malinski, brother Ronnie Mousseau (Catharine), sister Tara (Jim, Alaysha, and Evan), best friend Sean Skuter, Denise Snell (Doug and KT Bear), and many business companions who were like brothers to Troy.

He was predeceased by his father Roland Mousseau, mother Roselyn Malinski, daughter Illiana Nicole, and brother Lance Malinski.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at 1:00 pm at People’s Church (11850 108 St).

The Service will be livestreamed and can be accessed by using the following link.

Dear Troy. I remember the hours we spent online playing Eve online. The talks and laughs we had. We never had the chance to meet in real life but that does not stand in the way of a very warm friendship. My heart goes out to your lovely family of whom you always spoke highly. You will leave and empty space in the bed and at the table but your beloved wife and children will have a heart full of memories to cherish. I has been an honor and a privilege to know you. may you find peace no matter where you are. Fly safe my friend
