Thanks for sharing stories about my Napesis and Desjarlais family. Especially my grandmother Sophie who I barely remember. You were my connection to my family's history. You spoke so kindly of my family. Love you Torger from Dorothy (Napesis) Wanihadie and Norman Wanihadie.

My most treasured memory was the day I first met my father in-law, I looked up so high my neck couldn't go any further. Dad turned around looked down at me and replied you must be Bonnie. I knew right away there was something different about this family for they were forever giving hugs. Then came my time of really getting to know dad our talks and there were many teaching me about my walk with Christ. He was so patient and understanding with this seventeen year old girl. The years passed swiftly and my love for him grew stronger because I was also taught the way a father should behave. To say I'll miss him is an understatement however I'm very glad his suffering has come to an end. Dad was everybody's best friend, he truly was. I'll say goodbye now and tell you a person couldn't have had a better father in-law. Forever in my heart.♥️🙏

Torger was my hero during my teenage years growing up in La Glace. Even though he was 8 years older than me, he took an interest in me . Torger taught me to play the guitar. When visiting Torger in later years we played guitars together. By this time he was using a 12 string guitar. So each time I visited we played and sang the great hymns and Gaither songs. These are wonderful memories of a kind man. I truly am grateful for such a Godly mentor! Ray Benterud
