Obituary For Toni Elissa Luck (Sullivan)
Toni Elissa Luck (Sullivan), resident of Grande Prairie, Alberta, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital at the age of 82 years. She was the beloved wife of Al Luck and mother of Darren Luck.
On August 21, 1943, in Pouch Cove, Newfoundland, Agnes and Albert Sullivan welcomed their daughter, Toni. She was the second eldest in the family with three siblings, Albert Jr., Mike, and Rose Sullivan. Toni lived in Newfoundland and Taber, Alberta, before making Grande Prairie her home. She met her husband, Alphonse (Al) Luck, and they married on October 27, 1967. Nine years later, on October 12, 1976, Toni and Al welcomed their only child, Darren Kristian Luck, to the family.
Toni loved to bake and cook for the enjoyment of family and friends. The last two places she had worked at before retiring were the Daily Herald Tribune and Superstore.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Grande Prairie (10404 102 St). Following the service, friends are invited to join the family for a luncheon at Oliver’s Funeral Home in Oliver’s Tea Room (10005 107 Ave). A private interment will take place at a later date.
For those unable to attend in person, the funeral service will be livestreamed. The link will be available shortly before the service.
In lieu of flowers or gift baskets, memorial donations may be made to the Alberta Diabetes Foundation (www.albertadiabetesfoundation.com/).
While every effort is made to ensure a smooth livestream, technical or broadcast issues may occasionally occur beyond the control of Oliver’s Funeral Home.
