Skye Bryanne Marie Wanihandi, born on November 13, 1997, in Beaverlodge, Alberta, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, in Grande Prairie, Alberta. ~ Forever 28 ~

Skye was a devoted mom to her cherished son, Felix, and a treasured daughter to Angie, Selena W. (bio), and Ollie Olson (bio).

She is lovingly remembered by and leaves to mourn: her brother, Blade (Katherine); her sisters, Lovett (Johan), Aqua, Summer, Alissa, Stephanie, and Miley; her great-aunt, Elder Eva; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends—too numerous to name; you all know who you are. ♡

Skye was predeceased by her dad, Michael; her brothers, Matthew and Shawn; grandmother Marilyn; great-grandmother Evelyn; and great-grandfathers David Wanihandi and Dave Ward.

The funeral service and wake for Skye will take place at the Horse Lake Arena in Horse Lake First Nation (Horse Lakes 152B, Alberta).

Wake: Sunday, August 23, 2026, from 7:00 p.m. to overnight.

Funeral Service: Monday, August 24, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., followed by a luncheon.
