Obituary For Shandell Martha Chapman
Shandell Chapman, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, and former resident of Oyama, BC, passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at the age of 55.
Shandell was a loving mother who always put the needs of her own family above herself. She brought love and kindness into a world so besieged by grief and hardship. Shandell served as an anchor, showing what it meant to be a good person. She was always so willing to sacrifice her own comfort to help those around her.
Shandell is survived by her son, William “Marty” Chapman; her mother, Monique Biegel; her sister, Debbie Robertson; nieces and nephews, Michael and Nicole Love, and Zachery Robertson; and many other friends and family.
The memorial service for Shandell will be held on Monday, August 25, 2025, at 10:00 am, at Oliver’s Funeral Home (10005 – 107 Ave). Following the service, friends are invited to join the family for a luncheon in Oliver’s Tea Room.
