Obituary For Sean Justin Bainbridge

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Sean Justin Bainbridge, who left us far too soon at the age of 52 on Sunday, May 11, 2025, in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

Born in Grantham, England, on August 11, 1972, Sean brought light and laughter wherever he went. He spent his adult life working with the Pepsi Bottling Company, where he was admired for his strong work ethic, as well as his easygoing nature, and loyalty to his team and customers.

Sean had a deep love for the outdoors—hunting, fishing, and camping were some of his favorite ways to spend his time with the love of his life and all those who were dear to him. He was rarely seen without a smile and found his greatest joy in the company of family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife, Hope; his children Damian (Emily), Jasmine, and Tanaya; and his stepchildren; Christopher, Jordan, Dominique, and Valerie. Sean was a proud grandfather to Tahlia, Hunter, Sawyer, Freya, and Kingsley. He is also survived by his sister Tamar, his nephew Alexander, and many cherished friends and extended family both in Canada and back in England.

Sean was predeceased by his parents, Karen and Clive Bainbridge.

A casual Memorial Service to celebrate Sean’s life will be held on July 5, 2025 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, at Big Mountain Recreation Area. All who knew and loved him are welcome to attend, share memories, and honor the life of a man who made the world a little brighter.

"We hope you're playing that funky music until we meet again. . . Wank, wank"

In Loving Memory of Sean – My Brother, My Dream Team Partner Some people walk into your life and leave footprints that never fade — Sean was one of those people. I had the honour of working side by side with him for nearly 15 years at Pepsi-Cola, and from day one, we were thick as thieves. We built something more than a working relationship — we built a bond. We rode hard, laughed harder, and tackled every challenge together like a true "Dream Team." That was our nickname and it wasn't just for fun — we earned it, day in and day out. Sean was one of a kind. A hell of a guy. A hell of a man. He was the kind of person who left an impression everywhere he went. He showed up for people, helped where he could, and never asked for anything in return. For me, he was always there. Loyal. Solid. Real. His passing on Mother's Day shook me. Just 52 years old, with so much more ahead. But I know this — Sean made his mark. And that mark will never fade in the hearts of those who knew him. Rest easy, my brother. The Dream Team is forever. With love, respect, and memories that will never die, Mike G. Guthrie
