Lamendola Robert
My brother Sam wasn't perfect but he was very talented and while he never profited much from his talent, he was incredibly generous with it. Drawings and paintings went out to family and friends; art work so good that he could have made a good living selling it. His writing was poinient, sometimes sensitive sometimes sharp and sometimes comical. Here is one he sent to me on aging, BACK IN TIME by Sam Lamendola IT'S REMARKABLE TO GO BACK ,IN TIME REMEMBERING WHEN ALL WAS MINE WINGS THAT TOOK ME EVERYWHERE THE FREEDOM OF THE BREEZE, NOT A CARE THE EMBRACE, SURE TO COME, A SMILE ON MOM'S FACE THE CERTAINTY OF BEING IN THE RIGHT PLACE THE STRENGTH OF MY FATHER, DIRECTIONS, CLEAR MY FOUNDATION OF STRENGTH TO CHALLENGE FEAR SO MUCH HAS TAKEN PLACE SINCE THAT TIME BUT I HAVE RETAINED WHAT WAS AND IS MINE WITH WINGS, NOT AS STRONG, I STILL FLY GATHERING STRENGTH FROM THAT LITTLE GUY THE EMBRACES, SMILES, DIRECTIONS ARE VISIONS, NOW OF MEMORIES THAT I KEEP ALIVE, SOMEHOW BUT I GO BACK, IN TIME, AND GATHER THE JOY GIVEN TO ME...THE LITTLE BOY! So maybe my brother Sam wasn't perfect, but between us, he had all the talent and I had all the luck. Will miss my big bro
