Bob was a treasured member of the Vegreville morning coffee group. He always had something interesting to contribute, and was missed when He and Lynda moved to Grand Prairie. Condolences to the family!

My deepest sympathy to Lynda and her family and friends. He was a true gentleman. I liked hearing his calm but firm gentle voice during many intelligent conversations in Grande Prairie, as well as at church and in his home in Vegreville. Rest in peace, Bob

I will miss Bob. He was one of the pillars of Vegreville United Church when I worked as their minister. His love of reading and his passion for wanting to learn more about the Bible, made working there refreshing. I gleaned valuable insights at our Bible Studies. One of my fondest memories was; I introduced the song "Farther Along" to the congregation, which didn't go well. He came up to me at the end of the service and said "I liked your Grandmother's song." I will never forget that. He took time to make me feel special. Rev. Pamela Milton

Our deepest condolences to Linda and the family. Bob mentored me when I first taught science classes at GDHS and he and the boys canoed the French River with Jan and our two boys, Tom Beer and Chris Bertelsen back in the late 70's. He was a true adventurer with a keen sense of humour and always a good friend. May he rest in peace.
