Obituary For Rita "Beth" Snidar

Rita Beth Snidar, resident of Rycroft, AB, passed away on Friday, November 14, 2025, in Grande Prairie, AB, at the age of 76 years.

Beth was born on September 22, 1949, in Powassan, ON, to Rita and Lloyd Hughes.

She will be sadly missed by her husband, Donald James Snidar; Don’s children, Clint and Tracey; her sisters and brothers: Connie, Thane (wife Dee), Alice (husband Pat), Frank (girlfriend Kim), Kitchener (wife Cheryl), Dorothy (boyfriend Charlie), and Scott; her children, Tim Saumure and Tracy Cooper; stepchildren Randy Cooper, Tim Cooper, and Glenna Cooper; and grandchildren Branden Fry, Eric Fry, Dominique and her children, Tamara and her children, and Myles.

Beth was predeceased by her mother, Rita Ileen Hughes; her father, Lloyd George Kitchener Hughes; brothers Peter Nelson Hughes and Lloyd Harvey Hughes; and stepchildren Calvin Cooper and Harvey Cooper.

There will be no funeral service.

Forever remembered, always loved.

    So sorry to hear of your passing Beth. You meant so much to our family. Gracie, Philip, and Marcus have so many fond memories of the time they spent with you. They were so blessed to share many memories of camping, baking, sleep overs. and laughs with you. Thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time. We will miss you so much!

    I am so sorry to hear of Beth's passing . I don't have memories of her because Aunt Rita and Uncle Lloyd lived far away from us. What I do remember is that all the kids were great and we always had a lot of fun together. My condolences go out to the family and her friends.
