We offer families the opportunity to prepare and submit obituary notices written in their own words. We believe this allows each tribute to authentically reflect the life and legacy of the individual. To honour each tribute, obituaries are published as approved by the family.

Obituary For Richard Jonathon Roszell
Richard Roszell, born on August 2, 1957, in Regina, Saskatchewan, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, in Grande Prairie, Alberta, at the age of 68.
Richard moved to Grande Prairie in the early 1960s. He attended Grande Prairie Composite High School, where he made many lifelong friends and graduated in 1975.
Richard played baseball on the Prairie Signs Phantoms team and played floor hockey on the Ring Kings team.
He dedicated over four decades of his life to his career at the Prairie Mall. His commitment and hard work left a lasting impression on those who worked alongside him and frequented the mall during his tenure. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Richard was a journeyman bricklayer earlier in life.
He found joy in many outdoor activities, such as skidooing, motorcycling, camping, and golfing. These hobbies brought Richard happiness and allowed him to connect with others who shared his passions.
Richard is lovingly remembered by his two sons, Rick Roszell and Joseph Roszell, and his siblings, Debbie French, Phil Roszell, Robert Roszell, and Cathy Plourde.
Richard was predeceased by his father, Stan Roszell, and his mother, Grace Roszell.
May Richard's memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
The celebration of life will be held at a later date.
