Randy Carll, resident of the County of Grande Prairie, AB, formerly of Powell River, BC, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026, in Dimsdale, AB, at the age of 66 years.

Randy was born in Powell River, BC, on September 3, 1959, the youngest of three children. Throughout his lifetime, he worked driving trucks and was employed for the last ten years with Da Roc Transport. In 1986, Randy met his partner, Joanne. They spent the next 40 years raising their two children on an acreage near Dimsdale.

Randy could always be counted on for a grumbled “Hey” and a witty remark or two. His big truck was his second (or maybe first) home, and if he wasn’t lounging in his recliner, playing Candy Crush, he was at the shop.

He will be sadly missed by his partner, Joanne; his daughter, Michelle; his son, Michael (Cassandra); his grandchildren, Dixon, Daltyn, Elena, Kaylyn, Braelyn, and Hazelyn; and his eldest sister, Trudy.

He was predeceased by his mother, Suzanne; his father, Bill; and his sister, Barb.

Randy’s memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026, in the afternoon at the Dimsdale Community Hall (712010, Range Rd 72A).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
