Patrick Lee Arcand, resident of Valleyview, AB, formerly of Manning, AB, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2026, in Grande Prairie, AB, at the age of 54 years. Patrick was many things to many people: a devoted father, a loving brother, and a loyal friend. He lived a life full of hard work, adventure, and deep love for his family and friends.

Born on January 24, 1972, Patrick grew up in the small town of Manning alongside his eight siblings and his wonderful parents, where he learned the importance of family, diligence, and community. These were values he carried throughout his life.

Patrick had a true passion for truck driving and took great pride in his career, traveling far and wide while doing the work he loved. He was also partial to motorcycles and enjoyed spending countless hours riding through the beautiful roads of British Columbia and Alberta.

Some of Patrick’s happiest moments were the simple ones: sitting around a fire visiting with family and friends, sharing stories and laughter, and making memories with those he cared about most. Family meant everything to him. One of his favourite traditions with his children was gathering for a big breakfast before heading out on a Sunday drive, wherever the road might take them.

Patrick will be deeply missed by many and forever loved by all who knew him. He is survived by his children, Jason, Patrick, and Corrie.

He was predeceased by his mother, Evelyn; his father, Jules; his brothers, Rick and Tim; and his sister, Lucy.

A service will be held in the future, with details to be announced at a later date.
