Obituary For Pantazis â??Peterâ?? Mastrodimos

Pantazis “Peter” Mastrodimos passed away at his home in the County of Grande Prairie on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at the age of 75 years.

Peter Mastrodimos was born in the Village of Thisvi, Greece on January 16, 1944, the first child of Robert and Kikki Mastrodimos. Peter immigrated to Canada at the age of 23 and, in Edmonton, married Louise and fathered two children: Robert and Shelley.

Peter started his restaurant ownership in Valleyview (through which he met his second wife, Lauraine) then Whitecourt, Jasper and Grande Prairie, Trax being the last of these ventures.

He enjoyed his grandchildren and all the critters inside and out. He was a very hard worker and loved cooking, especially for his Greek Easter celebration. Many will remember his barbecued lamb.

He will be missed by his wife Lauraine; son Robert and his children Kiesha and Tyson; daughter Shelley and her daughter Athena; step-son Larry (Einat) Lindsay and his daughter Merie; brother Sam in Greece and nephews Bobby and Gus.

He was predeceased by his parents, his mother and father in-law, sister in-law Tula, and sister in-law Dianna.

A Celebration of the Life of Peter Mastrodimos will be held Sunday, September 15, 2019, from 3:00-6:00pm at the Dunes Golf and Winter Club (60042 TWP RD 704A). Come share your memories with the family.
