Obituary For William Joseph MacNeil
MacNeil, William Joseph, 65, passed away peacefully at his home in Dartmouth on Aug 15, 2022.
Born in New Waterford where he grew up and worked as a coal miner at #12 Colliery, he later retired and moved to Dartmouth. Willie loved to play tarabish and socialize at the Legion and the Buffalo Club (and no, he did not cheat at tarabish) lol
Willie is survived by his daughter Megan and stepson Joey (Karen), brother Gary (John) as well as his grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Willie was predeceased by his parents Andrew and Susan (Campbell) McNeil, sister Caroline Williams and brothers Donald, Andrew and Cordell.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no funeral service, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
