Obituary For Micheal James Robbiard

Micheal James Robbiard, resident of Nanaimo, BC, formerly of Grande Prairie, AB, passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2023, at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital, at the age of 42 years.

Micheal loved his family with all his heart. He was always excited to talk to everyone one at a time on the phone when he couldn't be at family gatherings or Sunday suppers. He had special names for his siblings: Nikki Picky, Dally Wally, and B.A. Mouse.

He loved being a father and grandfather. His daughter Taja Marie who he fondly referred to as Baby girl. Her 3 children, his grandchildren: Gracelynn, Sage, and Cyrus. His Son Austin, who he called Boo boo Bear, using a Yogi bear voice. Austin your dad was so proud of you. Mike had some really great step-kids also, Braiden and Brooklyn that he cared so much about. His kids and grandkids will really miss him.

Mike will be sadly missed by his parents Randy and Beverley Rose; siblings Nicole (Brodie), Dallas, and Brittney (Sheldon); as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, aunties, uncles and his many friends. He taught us how to love, laugh, and lighten up. Mike always said “you only live once!”

A Celebration of Life of a great guy will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at 1:00pm, at Believers Full Gospel Assembly in Grande Prairie (10711 100 St.). Luncheon to follow.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Mike often had a smile or at least a grin on his face. He was a good guy that seemed to get along with everyone. I knew Mike from elementary school, Parkside. We were always getting into trouble with the teachers and principal. Later on after high school we reconnected for a couple of years, not getting into as much trouble though.

I was Mike's friend when we were kids... we parted ways at some point in our teenage years. I remember his laugh and how fast he could run! Rest well MR Graham
