Michael McGinnis, resident of Grande Prairie, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Edmonton, at the age of 64 years.

Michael moved to Grande Prairie in 1984 to attend Grande Prairie Regional College. This is where he met his wife of 29 years.

Michael enjoyed spending time with his wife. He also enjoyed going out for coffee, going to a hockey game. He was known for his smile, kindness and willingness to help others.

Michael will be sadly missed by his loving wife Paulette McGinnis and his family.

He was predeceased by his father Robert McGinnis in 2011, and his brother Bill McGinnis in 1995.

The Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at 1:00pm at Oliver’s Funeral Home in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave.).
