Mary Williams, longtime resident of Spirit River, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2015 at Central Peace Hospital in Spirit Riverat the age of 85 years.

She was born in Lamont, AB, November 18, 1929. Her family moved to the Devale area in 1930.

She is survived by her sisters: Shirley (Fred) Trace and Catherine (Sam) Werboweski; son, Don (Terri) Williams of Grande Prairie; five grandchildren: Diane (Kevin) Brown of Hinton, Steven (Carrie) Williams of Spruce Grove, Stephanie (Clayton) Gaw of Grande Prairie, and Jennifer Kehler; and five great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Mary was predeceased by her father Andrew Posafko, son Larry Williams, mother Helen (Pete) Kolotylo and husband Harry Willliams.

At Mary’s request a private burial of ashes will take place in Spirit River Town Cemetery.
