  I have many fond memories of Auntie Mary, but one of my all time favourites was when you would babysit us and we would pick ice cream pails full of blueberries with the sole purpose of seeing all of the things Auntie Mary could do with them. She always made the best pies, breakfasts, and desserts with what we would bring her or what we would pick together. ♡

  One memory that sticks out for me is one from a wedding many years ago. There were a bunch of us sitting at a table when the song "My Maria" came on by Brooks and Dunn. I remember Peter taking Mary's hand and they walked to the dance floor. As they danced, I remember watching them and thinking, "Wow, look at those two. I sure hope I find a love like that one day". 💕 It has been many years since I have seen Peter or Mary but I sure think of "back in the day" often. I hope the family finds strength and comfort in the many stories to be told in the coming days. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

  We are so sorry to here of Mary's passing. She was always so kind and up for a chat at the rink - one of the friendly faces I met when we moved to Grande Prairie in 2013. I was fortunate to catch up with her in Edmonton in 2017 and enjoyed our visit. She was so proud of her family and her love for you all was apparent in every conversation. Whether talking about figure skating or speed skating, who was starting to drive, how school was going or worrying about Peter driving on the ice roads, there was no question her family was her #1 passion and priority.
