Obituary For Margaret Rose Martell

A beautiful gem has closed her eyes in sleep on Sunday, October 16, 2022, at the age of 76 years.

Margaret Rose Martell (nee Thibault) was the daughter of the late Charles and Evelyn (nee Comeau) Thibault.

Maggie leaves behind her beloved husband David Martell; children: Charles Monk, Wanda (Marco) Kolic, and Stephen (Caroline) Monk; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. She also is survived by: Agnes (Ansley), Freddie (Marilyn), and Walter (Milly).

Maggie was predeceased by her sibling: Charlie (Joan), Norman (Evelyn), Stanley, Buddy, William, and sister Mary.

Maggie was a tender-hearted, kind, loving woman, and wife who genuinely loved Jesus Christ with all her being.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at 2:00pm, at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Grande Prairie (711039 Range Rd 55).

The Catalyst of her life was:

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day. ~ 2 Timothy 4:7,8

My beautiful Aunt got me through one of the hardest times of my life. She was a kind and loving beacon of light in my time of darkness. I will be eternally grateful. She fought long and hard to remain here on earth but now she is at rest with her sister(my mom), brothers and parents. Love you Aunt Margaret.
