Joan Crichton, long-time resident of Grande Prairie, AB, and area, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024, at Prairie Lake Hospice, at the age of 73 years.

Joan was born on June 16, 1950, in Grande Prairie. All who knew her would describe her as such a joyful and loving woman. She was loved by all! She enjoyed being with family and friends. Joan will be greatly missed by all that knew her. She was such a breath of fresh air in this world that we live in.

Joan enjoyed doing puzzles, and playing card games with all her friends.

She will be greatly missed by her son Rod (Karla) Crichton, and daughter Amy Crichton; grandchildren: Daymion, Jackson, and Keygon; as well as the extreme multitude of loving and caring family and friends.

Joan was predeceased by her husband Jim on July 15, 2023, and her beloved “grandpup” Jesse in Decemeber 2023.

Cremation has taken place.
