It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lyse Patricia Roy on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, in Grande Prairie, AB, at the age of 78 years. Formerly of Evansburg, AB, Lyse resided in Grande Prairie.

Lyse was born on March 17, 1947, in the town of McLennan, AB, and was raised in Guy, AB. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved ones. Lyse had a creative spirit. Decorating her home for holidays and special occasions was one of her favourite pastimes, especially knowing how her children and grandchildren would love the results. She also delighted in creating crocheted and knitted outfits for her grandchildren. Lyse was fond of painting, gardening, and was an avid Elvis fan.

She is survived by Leo Roy; her children, Lyne Lariviere, Carmen Phillips (Pat), Raymond Roy, and Jules Roy (Jodi); grandchildren Jeffrey, Mellissa, Joshua, Carrie (Aiden), Dylan (Randi), Kyle, Austin, Ethan, Alexis, Mycaela (Gordan), and Aaran; great-grandchildren Dakota, Keenan, Joseph, Taneshia, Kinlee, Brantley, Bryar, and Oaklyn. She loved them all very much.

She was predeceased by both of her parents; her brother Jack; son Steven, grandson Jordan; and great-granddaughter Autumn.

Lyse, you will forever remain in our hearts.
