Obituary For Lea Rathler (née Aubin)
It is with great sadness and tears that I announce the passing of my mother, Lea Rathler, at the age of 83 on Tuesday, June 23, 2026. She passed at home with Carolyn and I by her side.
Lea was born on January 25, 1943, in St. Paul, Alberta. She was married to George for 56 years. The family lived in many places throughout Alberta, in Athens, Greece, and Singapore, then back to Grimshaw. In 1992, they moved to Lethbridge, where they retired.
Lea leaves to mourn her passing her son, Raymond (Carolyn Hardy); brother Laurent (Florence) Aubin; sister Louise (Marvin) Ziegler; and brother Rene (Sheila) Aubin; along with extended family and friends.
As per Lea’s wishes, no service will be held.
Cremation has taken place.
