Sadly, we regret to announce the unexpected passing of Kristine “Kris” (nee Carpenter) Pfau resident of Grande Prairie, AB on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital at the age of 57 years.

Known to many who loved her as “Kris”, she was born December 8, 1965, in Fort St. John, BC. After moving and growing up in Grimshaw, AB, she went on to graduate from SAIT in Calgary, AB. Relocating to Grande Prairie in 1990, with her daughter Karyna, she later married and was blessed with another daughter in 2006, Shania.

Kristine spent the majority of her life focused on loving and supporting her husband, daughters, and later, her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters: Shania and Karyna (Ira); grandchildren: Emery, Felicity, Kate, and Claire; her mother Karen; niece Brandy; nephew Brandon; three great-nephews; and her best friend Betty.

She had many close, lifelong friends and will be forever missed by those that loved her.
