Ah, I am sad to hear of Mr. Tontsch's passing! As others have said, he was a fabulous, passionate teacher who always had kind words for me. There aren't as many teachers as invested and as interested as he was. My condolences to his family.

Mr. Tontsch, you were a gifted and special teacher. I had the pleasure of being a student in your class at NPSS, for grades 10-11. I loved your animated story telling ways. I reached out many years after my graduation (1988) and was able to have a chat with you by phone. Glad I had the opportunity to tell you personally how much you were appreciated. Sending best wishes to your family and hope you are well celebrated this summer.
