Obituary For Keith Justin McGrath
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Keith Justin McGrath announces his sudden passing on October 21st, 2025, at Grande Prairie AB, at the age of 51.
Predeceased by his Mother Hilda, Brothers Donald and Myles and Sister-in-Law Mercedes.
Leaving to mourn are his spouse Melinda and their children: Alexis (Colton), Connor (Mackenzie); Father Justin, brothers Fergus (Stephanie), Anthony (Randy) and Danny; sisters Joan (Trudy), Carol-Ann (Eric), Shirley (David) and Kathy. Father-in-Law Randy (Norma), Mother-in-Law Mary (Andrew), Sister-In-Law Amanda (Shannon) and Sister-In-Law Melissa. Also leaving to mourn are many nieces, nephews, co-workers, and friends.
Keith spent the last 28 years working in Alberta’s oil patch. Known for his tireless work ethic, unwavering commitment, and the respect he earned from everyone who had the privilege of working for him or next to him. But above all, he was a family man, and his greatest joy was coming home to those he loved.
Cremation has taken place in Edmonton, Alberta. A Mass of Christian burial and a celebration of his life will be held in his hometown of Tilting, Fogo Island at a later date.
The family would also like to express their gratitude for the support and kindness received from relatives, friends and co-workers as well as Oliver’s Funeral home.
Donations in Keith’s memory can be made to the Tilting Expatriates Association. (TiltingExpatriatesAssociation@gmail.com)
Goodbyes are not forever, are not the end; it simply means I will miss you until we meet again.

I just wish I knew why buddy. We just spoke a couple of weeks back and everything seemed good. You were my rig brother and taught me so much. So many treacherous drives, long days and bitter cold nights. You were a keen hand and always ready for the next step. Glass half full personality no matter what. I can't imagine what you were going through buddy, I just wish we could have talked about it. Gone too early but never forgotten. You will be missed by many my friend. RIP. Keith

I'm saddened to hear of Keith's passing. We graduated from high school together. The last time I saw him was probably 10 years ago while we were both vacationing back home. He always had a smile and a warm greeting. I want to send my deepest condolences to his family and friends. Treasure your memories. Deepest sympathy Heather Read (Hynes)
