Obituary For Keith John Adrian

Keith Adrian, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, formerly of Loon Lake, SK, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 22, 2024 in Grande Prairie at the age of 78 years.

Keith was born in Loon Lake, SK on October 19, 1945. Leaving school at an early age to work, while also helping on the family farm, Keith had many jobs before he settled into a sales position, which was truly his passion. He worked and lived in the BC interior, ultimately finding his one and only true love, Glennys. She was his first and forever kiss and he loved her immensely. It was there they started a family. They then moved to Grande Prairie in 1987, where they remained. Keith was best known for being the most jovial and happy individual you would meet.

Many of Keith’s work accomplishments were recognized and awarded in the window and door sales industry, something he truly valued. Family was second to none and he was always involved in raising his two sons, exemplifying manhood, character and great morals.

Keith’s brother Dave was a large inspiration in his younger years as well as his manager Warren Hicks with Dashwood Ind. His favourite things to do were camping, flying model planes and reading. His love for his dog Buffy, who lived until she was 20, was known to all.

Keith is survived by his sons: Brian Adrian (Sandi) and Daryl Adrian (Rae-Lyn, predeceased); granddaughters: Jasmine Bainbridge (Michelle), Tristan Adrian (Kirk), Elizabeth Adrian and Sarah Adrian (Toni); brother Dave Adrian (Erma); sister-in-law Anita Jones (Ken, predeceased); as well as many loved nieces and nephews. With a special thank you to his niece Cindy in his final days.

Keith is predeceased by his wife of 54 years Glennys Adrian; parents Edward and Pauline; brother Ron (Edith) and daughter-in-law Rae-Lyn.

An Interment Service will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 2:00pm, at the Grande Prairie Cemetery (84 Ave and 112 St), with a Celebration of Life to follow at Daryl’s home.

For those attending, the family asks to please feel free to dress comfortably.

In lieu of flowers, Keith’s wishes are to donate to a charity of your choosing.
