I love my aunt. Whenever I saw her she was a light, good energy, and warmth. She was always positive , happy, and a true pleasure to be around. She did however deduce that it was Calvin and I who through darts at my uncle's lazy boy chair in spite of our adamant insistence it was Derek. I love you Auntie Joyce!

My sincere condolences to the Maple family. I met Joyce when I taught school in La Glace with her and later when she taught a couple of my kids. She was also good friends with my sister-in-law, Geraldine Stolte(nee Nyland) growing up in La Glace with her.

Thankful for the time I was able to spend as part of the family. During those 10 years there were so many memories, too many to mention but my favourite would be baking with her and learning the art of making Lefsa. She will be missed

Joyce was always a pleasure to spend time with. We played board games like Chinese checkers and built puzzles every morning and afternoon while I was going to junior high, and in turn she helped build my interest in strategic games and influenced my ability to be observant in games and everyday life. Not to mention that Christmas was a time I looked forward to when I knew I would be going to Joyce and Kay's for gifts and dinner. And the delicious desserts of course.
