We offer families the opportunity to prepare and submit obituary notices written in their own words. We believe this allows each tribute to authentically reflect the life and legacy of the individual. To honour each tribute, obituaries are published as approved by the family.

He served for 15 years, from 2006 to 2021, as a Councillor for Saddle Hills County, which he enjoyed very much.

He was predeceased by his parents, Anton and Anna Moen.

In accordance with John’s wishes, he was cremated, and no formal service took place. If so desired, memorial donations may be made in memory of John, to the Grande Spirit Foundation (to the benefit of the Spirit River Centre; 9505-102 Ave., Grande Prairie, AB, T8V 1Z8).
