Obituary For Jesse Donald-Ray Lukac

Jesse Donald-Ray Lukac, resident of Grande Prairie, Alberta, passed away tragically and suddenly on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at the age of 32.

Jesse was born in Beaverlodge, Alberta, on September 13, 1993, to Theresa and Brian Lukac. He was raised in Goodfare, Alberta, on his grandparents’ farm for most of his childhood. Jesse was the youngest of three with an older brother, Cody, and an older sister, Jayme.

Jesse was known as a lover with a soft side and would always put you before himself, no matter the situation.

He was never afraid to try something new. He had a huge passion for anything with a motor, from his first little 50cc dirtbike at the ripe age of two to quads and dune buggies. He went on to find a passion for snowmobiling in the mountains with his big brother. Anything and everything outdoors, he was into it.

Jesse lived many lives in his 32 years with us; he truly treasured time spent with friends and family. Over the years, Jesse acquired the most amazing group of friends that to this day were by his side and considered part of the family.

Jesse will be greatly missed by his mom, Theresa Lukac; stepdad Terry Lukac; brother Cody Lukac (spouse Amanda Lukac) and kids Paisley and Maison; sister Jayme Lukac (spouse Corbin Thompson) and kids Sloane and Walker; grandparents Shirley Bennie and Doris Lukac; aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his partner, Tyrra Thompson.

Jesse was predeceased by his dad, Brian Lukac; grandfather Gabriel Lukac; uncle Donald Lukac; and cousin Jeffrey Bennie.

Jesse had such an impact on those around him. He gave his whole heart, leaving a lasting mark through his kindness, laughter, and unwavering loyalty. He will be deeply missed, but the love he shared and the memories he created will live on forever.

Please join us in celebrating Jesse’s life on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Oliver’s Funeral Home (10005-107 Ave, Grande Prairie), with interment to follow at Hythe Cemetery (110045 AB-672, Hythe, AB, T0H 2C0).
