We offer families the opportunity to prepare and submit obituary notices written in their own words. We believe this allows each tribute to authentically reflect the life and legacy of the individual. To honour each tribute, obituaries are published as approved by the family.

Obituary For Jean-Claude (JC) Joseph Mulaire

On Tuesday, June 2, 2026, JC Mulaire entered into the presence of the Lord Jesus. He had just recently celebrated his 82nd birthday while in the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital, surrounded by his family, along with friends who joined virtually.

JC had resided in Grande Prairie, AB, since 2019. He was formerly of Prince George, BC, as well as Ottawa, ON, and originally from La Broquerie, MB.

A loving man of thoughtful disposition, his greatest joy was knowing his Saviour and Lord Jesus. That love extended to his wife, Ellie Van de Pol; his children, Josée and Jason; and his stepchildren, Jason (Pam) Bell, Christopher (Adyne) Bell, and Aislinn Bell. JC will be dearly missed by his eight grandkids, Ryan (Anna) Bell, Niiko Mulaire, Dana Bell, Garion Bell, Davis Bell, Abriel (Joshua) Spence, Leina Bell, and Rodnerline Bell; his sisters, Aline Mulaire and Amanda (Glen) Hupe; and his brother, Marc Mulaire. He was predeceased by his sisters, Yvette Huzyk, Claudette Carlson, and Marie Mulaire.

JC continually exemplified a spirit of friendship and hospitality. If there was a friend in need, he always welcomed the opportunity to help. He shared freely of his expertise in construction, and his quiet wisdom made an incredible impact on others. JC was a loving husband and a wonderful steward of the things God entrusted to him.

A private family-only interment will be held at a later date at the Glen Leslie Cemetery in Bezanson, AB.

Released from the cares of his physical decline, may you rejoice in your new and permanent home, JC!

Maranatha! Until we meet again.
