On October 8, 2021, Jack took his last breath on earth, and his first in heaven. He is now with his Lord and Saviour Jesus, that he loved and served all his life. We rejoice he is free from all his pain and suffering. Jack was born on January 9, 1936, to John and Gudrun (nee Liland) Forseth. He grew up on the farm near Buffalo Lake, AB.

Jack was a gentle, quiet man with a wonderful sense of humor. He had many friends, and loved them all. All of the nurses in the QEII Hospital and the Grande Prairie Care Centre, where he spent the last year, all said how much they loved his smile. He liked to tease everyone, especially his wife and daughters.

Jack will be sadly missed by his loving wife Sue; children Rachel Forseth, and Janel Thomas and son in-law Dustin Thomas; grandchildren: Nelia, Sadie, and Weston; two sisters Helen Sutton and Alice Melnychuk; three brothers: Howard, Victor, and Orville; nieces and nephews; as well as cousins to numerous too name.

Jack was predeceased by his mom and dad Gudrun and John Forseth; brother Ken and his wife Esther; brothers in-law Ray Sutton and Harry Melnychuk; nephew Terry Forseth; niece Terrisa Miller; all of his aunts and uncles; many cousins, all of whom he dearly loved. We knew Jack as a neighbour and friend...and he was good at both! He was willing to help out whenever he could. I never heard him say a bad word about anyone. Two things stand out in my mind when I remember Jack, his gentleness, and quiet sense of humour! Sometimes you had to listen for it, but it was always there! To know Jack was to love him. Our sincere condolences go out to Sue, Rachel, Janelle ,and family, our prayers will be with you during this difficult time! I loved your line...his last breath on earth was his first breath in Heaven! You'll join him again! Sending much love, Robert and Rachel Nystec
