Obituary For Helen Parrish Fenton

Helen Deloris Fenton

On Monday, September 7, 2015 Helen Deloris Fenton, resident of Bezanson, Alberta passed away at the age of 70 years at the Cross Cancer Institute.

Helen and Bruce started the Fenton’s Greenhouses which introduced her to many people through the local Farmers market. Helen was the founder of TOPS program in Bezanson, she loved her curling, she was involved with the Ladies Legion Auxillary. Helen’s grandchildren will fondly remember the many rides they took with grandma and grandpa in the golf cart. Helen enjoyed her camping, she couldn’t wait for each Spring so that they could get out in their 5th wheel.

Helen will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 50 years, Bruce, their children: Tracy and Bryan; grandchildren: Brett (Jesslyn), Dayton, Chelsey (Jason), and Ryan; great-grandchildren: Haylee and Nathan; Siblings: Janet Dahlberg, Sylvia Bruno; In-laws: Margaret Parrish, Allan (Betty) Fenton, Raymond (Margaret) Fenton, Jim (Betty-Ann) Fenton, Muriel (Bud) Powell,; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Helen was predeceased by her parents: Laurence and Mildred Parrish, her infant brother: Laurence; brother: Dale Parrish; brothers in-law: John Bruno, Ralph Dahlberg; father and mother in-law: Robert Fenton and Myrtle Fenton.

A Celebration of Helen’s Life will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, September 14, 2015 at Bezanson Memorial Hall.

Memorial Donations in loving memory of Helen may be made to Hope Program (Human Organ Procurement) (HOPE)

    Heartfelt sympathy Bruce. Helen was a wonderful lady who will be missed by all who knew her. I will always remember her as having a smile on her face and a story to tell - she was such a genuine caring person.
