Obituary For Hank George Napesis

Hank George Napesis, resident of Horse Lake Reserve, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at the age of 44 years.

Hank Jr. was born in Grande Prairie, Alberta, on September 3, 1981. He was raised in Horse Lake, Alberta, by his parents, Henry and Lydia Napesis, along with his siblings, Daniel, Tiffany, and Elena.

Hankie was kindhearted and loved spending time with family and friends.

He will be lovingly remembered by his dad, Henry Napesis; his brother, Daniel; his sisters, Tiffany and Elena; his nephew, Connor; and a very special girl, Mary Jean, whom he thought of as a sister. He will also be missed by his little buddy, Russell, and numerous other family members.

Hankie was predeceased by his mother, Lydia Napesis; his grandfather, Harvey Wilson; his grandparents, Johnny and Emily Napesis; and many other loved ones.

The viewing and memorial service will be held in the very near future, with details to be shared once available. Interment will take place at Horse Lake Band Cemetery at a later date.

    Hank was a very good man I can't believe I lost my whole crew hank Chris h and me (Tim duke) worked for many years together we had good times cutting line and even crazier time after work we my of partied hard but one thing that we did was never missed work and we all thought the same if u want to play hard got to work just as hard the next day no matter what hank u will always have a place in my heart rip bro

    Aww Hank, you've gone too soon. Sending your family and our community big hugs because they really feel the big loss. You were a good person, I know we use to fight alot as kids but that only cause my family use to tease me that you were my boyfriend... my... entire... life.. haha. Im sad to hear you are gone to the spirit world but I know you are at peace because join your mom in the spirit world - Give everyone a big hug up there sending you love <3 this isn't goodbye its see you later.
