Obituary For Greggory "Gregg" Frank Allen Souther

November 18, 1975 – January 30, 2023

On Monday, January 30, 2023, we said goodbye to our most hardworking, talented, and kind-hearted father, son, brother uncle, and grandfather Gregg.

With heavy hearts, he will be dearly missed by an abundance of individuals who ventured through life with him; previous co-workers, childhood best friends, and relatives.

Many of us can agree that Gregg sought after meaningful life experiences no matter the outcome. Those of who were lucky to be a part of his life, will forever carry an exceeding amount of gratitude for the time we did cherish with him.

Gregg’s ability to play the guitar continues to play a melody in the backbone of our minds. His laughter resonates for miles and miles when reminiscing the greatest of times. We could always count on Gregg for one heck of a time. In the wilderness, at the dining table, playing a game of cards, to jamming out to some good rock n’ roll.

For those of you who feel inclined to Celebrate his Life here on earth, please join the family on Saturday, February 11, 2023, from 1:00-4:00pm, at the Grande Prairie Legion (9212 101 Ave.).

We were so sad to learn of Gregg's passing and our hearts go out to the family. Losing someone so young is not really fair and makes it more difficult to accept. Knowing the heartbreak does not make it easier even for us to accept it. We had the pleasure of experiencing this wonderful young man at the Redwillow camp. He was a joy to work with and an enthusiast for all activities. He was not the biggest of the boys but stood tall with all our activities. Was a joy to have known and will be surly missed. We had the campers build stilts with instructions to build at a two foot height limit, well we didn't get to Gregg fast enough, his were four foot, he had to mount them off a picnic table, then proceeded to show everyone how to climb a very very steep hill on them. Great sports enthusiast. From all of us whom experienced Gregg at Redwillow Camp
