Gra Couch Martin Rogers, resident of Valleyview, AB, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at the South Valley Residence in Valleyview, at the age of 83 years.

Gra was born on September 20, 1941, in Grande Prairie, AB. He was the eldest son of Ray and Florence Rogers. Over the years, Gra worked various jobs throughout Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan. While in Alberta, he worked in Fort McMurray, Grande Prairie, and Valleyview. He greatly enjoyed repairing small engines.

Gra was a quiet man, keeping mainly to himself and helping others whenever the need arose. In particular, he enjoyed spending time with those of the younger generation. He was an avid reader and especially loved doing anything outdoors.

He will be sadly missed by his brothers, Jack (Monica) and Lawrence (Joan); sisters Marie (Adam), Josephine (Wallace), and Crystal; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Gra was predeceased by his parents, Ray Rogers and Florence Rogers; sister Ann Wall; and brother Robert Rogers.

His family will be holding a private graveside service at Sturgeon Heights Cemetery.
