  Condolences to Lena and the immediate family, as well as Gord's extended family, Gord spent a lot of time at our parent's house in Calgary (Betty & Dale Casey) in the mid-80s when he was taking his refrigeration classes at SAIT. I attached a photo of Gord with my dad, Dale in 1986. Gord played a special part in our family's life during those years and since. We will miss Gord's humor, caring, and laughter. He will be missed.   Lena and Family and the entire Buechner Clan. When I think of Gord and growing up, where I mostly lived at the Buechner family home, Gord always had a smile. He would tease or joke and was genuinely just a good guy. He always expressed such deep love for his family and was such a hard worker. He was able to fix our overhead furnace when nobody else could and gave us retirement advise all in one.   Oh Lena, I'm so sorry. Gord was a grade nine student of mine at Montrose and we kept in touch now and then. For some reason we decided that his nickname was "Rosebud." Over the decades, when we would meet, it was a hug and a laugh over the nickname. He was a wonderful man.
