Obituary For Gail Margaurite Dupuis
Gail M. Dupuis, resident of Grande Cache, AB, formerly of Watson Lake, YT, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022, at home, at the age of 60 years.
Gail was born on March 14, 1962, in Calgary, AB, and raised in Watson Lake. In her 30’s she moved to Grande Cache where she eventually opened her own bar, The Wild Rose Saloon. Gail loved this job, and she ran it for 7 ½ years. She later worked for Canada Post.
Gail was caring, loving, and always saw the good in people. She enjoyed cleaning, spending time with her grandbabies, going for drives, and gardening.
Gail will be sadly missed by her partner Greg Didow of over 25 years; children: Nikki Dupuis (Cy Skagen), Matthew (Sara) Dupuis, Kara Gale, and Brittany Ladouceur; brother Corte; grandchildren: Izzy, Sophia, Ben, Ayra, Abby, Gracie, Hannah, Ian, and Alexis; great-grandchild Aubrey; as well as the Didow family.
Gail was predeceased by her grandson Jared.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at 1:00pm, at Cornerstone Mountain Assembly Church PAOC in Grande Cache (11001 Leonard St.).
In lieu of memorial donations, if you wish to do so, you may bring flowers. Gail’s wishes were to have hundreds of flowers at her Celebration of Life.
