Obituary For Ford Harry Wade

We sadly announce the passing of Ford Wade, on Friday, May 19, 2023, in his home on the family farm in Spirit River, AB, at the age of 74 years.

Ford was born on November 25, 1948, to Arthur and Ruth Wade. He was the youngest of three boys and five girls.

He loved the farm life. He also had a great love for horses and reading.

Ford is survived by his brother Roy Wade, and numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces.

He was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Ruth Wade; brother Arthur; as well as sisters: Lillian, Edna, Ellen, Ruth, and Gladys.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at 1:30pm, at the United Church in Spirit River, AB (4902 45 Ave.). Luncheon to follow the service.

    Sorry for your loss. Ford was a great character who frequented our home often. Always good for some entertainment and colorful visit. He will be missed.

    He was the one who got me back into automotive mechanic and tinkering around with small engines again and for that, you always have a place in my heart Ford I remember the good old days when me you and my dad, garnet Marple and April all went for a random back road adventure man do we had some great times anyways forward I'll see you some other time. Rest in peace buddy will be greatly missed and loved.

    Well slipped out on me the most graceful way a man of your sneakiness would do. You were and always will be loved and carried in our hearts. Our stories will include you in your most loving ways.     He was the first person to ever put me on a horse when i was a kid and as i grew into an adult I was the last person he rode with. We rode puzzle and jasper down the dirt road together almost 5 years ago now.
