Obituary For Evelyn Carol Bartsch

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Evelyn Bartsch, resident of Grande Prairie, AB formerly of La Glace, AB. She passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, November 25, 2022, at the age of 70 years.

Evelyn was born to Peter and Helen Bartsch on July 14, 1952. She was raised in La Glace and later moved to Grande Prairie, where she graduated from high school. Shortly after graduating she started a family and embarked on various career paths that eventually led her to Midwest on Main for the past 18 years. Evelyn enjoyed gardening and loved her family fiercely; she was always happiest when surrounded by them. She was a patient, caring, and strong woman who only ever wanted to do the best for those she loved. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

She will be sadly missed by her husband Greg Yawney; children: Nicole (John), Cori (Derek), and Joey (Jennifer); stepchild: Shaun (Donna); grandchildren: Amber, Patrick, Brodie, Brendan, Zackary, Aidan, Sophia, Samantha, Leah, and Madison; great-grandchild Declan; nieces: Jenn and Lindsay; nephews: Ryan, Tyler, and Scott.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022, at 2:00 pm, at Oliver's Funeral Home in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave.).
