Obituary For Erin Colleen Haiste

Erin Colleen Haiste, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital, at the age of 53 years.

Erin was born on August 10, 1968, in Grande Prairie to Barbara and Grant Haiste. She attended the Grande Prairie Regional College and obtained her degree in Rehab Practioner.

Erin’s interests were competitive swimming the Grande Prairie Aquarine (SP) swim club, hockey, working with her Dad at fundraisers and hockey games for the Grande Prairie Northstars. Her biggest interest was her nieces, she adored them very much. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was independent and a good-hearted woman.

She loved to laugh, play trivia, baking, cake decorating, and cooking - she was a good cook.

Erin will be sadly missed by her mother Barbara Haiste Marcy; step-dad Wayne Marcy; sister Kelly (Tim) Erickson; step-brother Scott (Tammy) Marcy; as well as her nieces: Jade Erickson (Chad Pawluk), and Dakota Erickson (Nolan Van Steelandt).

Erin was predeceased by her father Grant Haiste.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at 2:00pm, at The Pond (9.5 kms South of West Fraser on Highway 40). Please bring your lawn chair.

Memorial Donations may be made to Bandaged Paws Animal Rescue Association (12220 104 Ave., Grande Prairie, AB, T8V 8A8).
