Obituary For Emily McDermott

Emily C. McDermott, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, formerly of Bonnyville, AB, passed away on Monday, September 1, 2025, in Grande Prairie, at the age of 72 years.

Emily will be sadly missed by her daughters, Melinda Plamondon and Christine Plamondon; grandchildren: Megan Cairns, Amanda Taylor, and Steven Thomsen; great-grandchildren: Deacon Taylor, Thea Taylor, Jade Young, and Leonna Young.

She was predeceased by John Plamondon

    Condolences to the family. I got to know Emily when I moved to GP way back in the early 90's. We worked together at Crouses Cleaners. It was always non stop laughter, our stomach's would hurt! She made work fun! She will be missed 💚
