Obituary For Elizabeth Estelle Pittman MacDougall

Elizabeth “Stella” Estelle MacDougall, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, formerly of Grande Cache, AB, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2019, in Grande Prairie, AB, at the age of 79 years.

Stella was born August 14, 1940 in Glace Bay, NS. She moved to Grande Cache, in 1970, and resided there until 2017, when she moved to Grande Prairie.

Stella was known to be a kind, loving woman who spent the majority of her life raising her children.

She will be sadly missed by her children: Michael Pittman, Richard (Ethel) Harvey, John Harvey, Robert Harvey, Gerald (Angel) Harvey, and George (Cindy) Harvey; grandchildren: Stephanie, Jeffrey, Kara, Katelyn, Ashley, Charnelle, Tasha, Taler, Cassie, Sarah, and Mason; great-grandchildren: Brooklynn, Kenzie, Brooke, Aria, Bella, Olivia, Freyer, Oaklynn, Rowyn, and Sawyer.

She was predeceased by her husband George Harvey; son William MacDougall; grandson Michael Pittman Jr.; brothers: Fabien, Robert, and Vincent; sisters: Mary, Dorothy, and Deena; as well as daughter in-law Nancy Pittman.

A Viewing will be held on Saturday, September 21, at 1:00pm at Oliver’s Funeral Home in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave.). The Funeral Service will follow at 2:00pm. The interment will take place at Grande Prairie City Cemetery (84th Ave., & 112 St.).

Memorial Donations may be made to The Rotary House (10101 97A St., Grande Prairie AB, T8V 0X3).
