Obituary For Elizabeth Ann Hampton

Elizabeth Ann Hampton, resident of Grande Prairie, Alberta, formerly of Norris Arm, Newfoundland, passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital, at the age of 57 years.

Born on July 12, 1968, in Botwood, Newfoundland, she was raised in Norris Arm by her loving parents and many siblings. At a young age, she moved to Alberta and started a career in retail sales. She never looked back and eventually moved into a new career role as a financial advisor.

Elizabeth was an incredibly strong individual and truly loved life. She had a wide variety of hobbies and interests. She loved to camp and enjoyed many days doing so. Politics was one of her main interests, and she never hesitated to share how she felt. Before her passing, she had just been about to dabble in painting. Elizabeth’s greatest hobby, though, was fixing everyone’s problems, and her greatest passion was her wonderful children, whom she raised into beautiful young women.

She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Haylee Elizabeth Hampton and Tori Lynn Hampton; the father of her children, Terry (Marti) Hampton; brothers Joe (Susan) Hanlon, Don (Marjorie) Hanlon, Pat (Olga) Hanlon, Ed (Tracy) Hanlon, Chris Hanlon, and Tim Hanlon; sister Linda (Brian) Hanlon; many nieces and nephews; best friends, Darren and Kim Pelley; and all her friends that were like family.

Elizabeth was predeceased by her parents, Herbert and Olive Hanlon; brothers Jim Hanlon and Craig Hanlon; and sister Marg Hanlon.

Forever in our hearts.
