Jean and family: Doug was a very giving, considerate and caring man and we will miss him! We loved to play Whist and visit and hear Dougâ??s stories of him preparing breakfast for you and the kids on school mornings, you off to teach, and the kids off to learn. He would then go do his fieldwork. He had a unique way of storytelling! Sending loving thoughts to you and your family. Beverley and Bruce

Hello Jean I was saddened to hear of Doug's passing. I'm very sorry for your loss and I know you will miss him in this life. I hope it will be some consolation to you, knowing that he has gone to be with our Lord. I have known Doug to be a model gentleman. It was fun playing bridge with him both as a partner or opponent I often noticed how he deferred to you, his loving wife. We will miss his presence at the bridge table and at church. May God bless you going forward. Love Sharon Lejeune
